Charlie's Bow Tie Baby Shower

Oh my stars, this amazing baby shower for our little boy just fills my heart; it was such a special day! The three wonderful hostesses who planned this beautiful day are three of my closest friends, and we have all known one another since childhood. I looked forward to this day so much, as it was the first baby shower to celebrate our little boy. The love and creativity that went into this fantastic event blew me away, and I know you'll be inspired by all of the adorableness and how it came together!

Gender Reveal Party!

In June, we had a little gathering with our family and closest friends so we could all find out together whether Baby Irwin would be a boy or girl! I was so anxious and excited to find out what we were having (and I think everyone else was too!) so I did a lot of work on the party to keep my mind occupied in the weeks leading up to the big reveal. I had a BLAST with all of the planning and details and I am so very happy with how everything came together with our pink and navy theme. 

Our Maternity Photos!

It is so hard to believe how quickly our pregnancy has flown by as we are only a couple of weeks away from meeting our baby boy! I am SO happy we decided to have the talented Jordan Maunder capture this special time. I love that we will have these maternity pictures to remember this unique time of anticipation and preparation for our son to arrive. For us, our maternity pictures celebrate the ultimate answer to prayer and tremendous blessing in our lives. Not to mention, Jordan is incredibly talented and I highly recommend her if you're in North Carolina! :)

Organized Drop Zone

Hi, friends! Today I'm sharing one of the spaces in our home that gets the most use: our drop zone. Seriously, this area is "the little drop zone that could."  I created this space soon after we moved into our house as a spot where we could conveniently put things as we came in the door. It's where we drop mail, magazines, loose change, and everything in between. It also helps me keep track of what I need to be taking with me when I leave the house. On a typical day, we enter the house through the door from the garage, and the table is placed where we walk right past it everyday.
