Hello! I'm Danielle. Welcome to my little blog; I am really glad you're here! 

I'm married to my college sweetheart, Eddie, and we live in the south with our one year old son, Charlie, and our two pups. We recently made a big move to a new state for Eddie's dream job and I have adopted the motto, "bloom where you are planted." 

  
I worked in nonprofit fundraising for several years for Girls on the Run, an organization that is near a dear to my heart. 2015 will forever be my favorite year, as it was the year I earned my law degree through night classes and also gave birth to our son. We battled infertility for over three years before we were blessed with our little Charlie.   

I am passionate about my faith, family, and cheering on my Tar Heels. I also enjoy making our home our own. In my spare time, you’ll find me in between projects as I turn our second house into a happy home. 

I started this blog in 2013 as a way to share special moments with our family and friends. Now, I enjoy sharing about our life and our home. I truly believe you don't have to have a huge budget or extensive DIY skill set to make your home a beautiful and welcoming place.

I think Shanna Neiquist said it best: " I want to use my voice to bring light and hope and beauty. I want to search for what's good and shout about that." I hope this little blog brightens your day and that you will join me as I share a little bit of my heart and home!
